Learn French in Taunton
A Journey
Across France
Ten destinations. One continuous journey.
Follow Margaux, a travel photographer, as she travels across France. At every stop, discover a new place, a new story and the French you need to communicate in real-life situations.
Learn French by living the journey
Grammar and vocabulary are not learnt from disconnected lists. They are introduced through useful situations, memorable places and a story that progresses from one session to the next.
Meet Margaux
Margaux is a travel photographer touring France. Each week, you join her in a new destination through a postcard, a photo and a practical challenge: meeting someone, ordering a meal, exploring a town or planning the next stage of the trip.
The destination
The journey begins in the North of France and ends among the lights of Strasbourg’s Christmas market.
- Introduce yourself and ask simple questions
- Describe places, people and daily life
- Talk about the weather and your interests
- Order food and shop at a market
- Ask for and understand directions
- Talk simply about the past and future
